Google Offers Hits The Big Apple

Google have posted some info on their blog today about the expansion of the Google Offers product (which will allow users to find/receive updates about local deals). The beta is moving to New York and San Fransisco Bay area today, following its launch in Portland in June.

The blog describes how "Subscribers who sign up at www.google.com/offers or via the new “Today’s Offer” tab in Google Shopper 2.0 for Android will start receiving emails with local offers" in their area.

Google are also offering a daily offer, where users "can buy, view and redeem a Google Offer of the day with Google Shopper 2.0 for Android."

We are eagerly watching this beta Stateside, with Boston, Denver and Seattle among the next cities to enjoy this new service.
