Social Networking Map of Europe

Have a look at these amazing pictures put together by Eric Fischer – showing how different cities across Europe and the US are using Twitter and Flickr.

Main points of note:

- Many UK cities (particularly London) show up on the map as nearly white, which indicates a high usage of both social networking sites.

- The map of New York shows a large cluster of usage around the Central Park area, indicating that lots of users are tagging this location in Twitter and Flickr posts.

- The map of LA shows a very noticeable gridlike pattern of usage.
