Google PPC Ads at the Bottom of the Page?

Since reading Google’s blog post about their update on ad placement, we have been feverishly looking out for an Irish or UK example – and bingo, found it today! (on Google.ie)

The update that was announced last week means that Google PPC ads will now be served along the bottom of the SERP’s (search engine results pages), as well as along the top and the side.

You may have noticed Google testing this on and off for the past couple of months – they officially announced it on Nov 2nd.

You won’t see the ads on the side and on the bottom at the same time (sounds a bit saucy that), and you can see how the ad placements are impacting on your PPC ad campaigns by going into your account, selecting your campaign and choosing the “segment” tab. Have a look at “Top Vs. Other.”
