Market Research firm Forrester have released a report detailing the levels of social media adoption in the US and top EU countries in 2011.
Here is a snippet from the report, which shows how users are interacting with social media globally – interesting to note the differences between US users and those in the top seven EU countries (i.e. UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Spain and The Netherlands).
Not surprising to see that US users are more hands on in social media spheres – interacting more. Literally, being more social
My most interesting take-away from this piece of the report, is that approx. one quarter of those using social media are “Creators” – that is, create their own content, whether that’s blog posts, videos, web pages & more.
